I have tried many bread machine mixes and most have been okay but this one rates an "excellent" because not only is it a very good basic loaf, it also works very well with additives, either prepared entirely in the bread machine, or (after the second rise) removed from the machine, shaped and baked on a stone in the oven.
Stretched and flattened with a filling of either savory or sweet ingredients, then rolled and set to rise and then bake in a loaf pan, it produced excellent herb and onion bread, cinnamon raisin bread and a brown butter and seed bread.
I buy it via the subscribe-and-save plan as I use it often.

Since I started making Hodgson Wholesome Potato bread, my husband will not eat store bought bread anymore! We make about two loaves a week, in different varieties of the Hodgson Mill brand. The honey whole wheat and white bread mixes are also great.
I like using my old bread machine to make the dough, then shape into loaf and bake in the oven. Makes perfect loaf every time, also makes delicious rolls.
Glad I discovered this brand of bread mixes on Amazon--they are wholesome, and I know what I'm putting into the bread I bake now. Great product!

When I saw these wagon wheels, I thought the kids (3 and 5) would enjoy the fun shape. My kids regularly eat whole-grain pasta, but my kids refuse to eat these- and I agree that it has a gritty texture- we've tried multiple times and it's either too soft so that it falls apart, or part of the pasta wheel is uncooked- maybe this is a poorly designed shape? I usually enjoy products from this Hodgson Mill...

I agree with the reviewer of the rice spaghetti and I like the linguine too. This pasta is wonderful. Great taste and texture not soggy or gummy. I was pleasantly surprised since I have tried several other rice pastas. I don't miss gluten at all when I eat this pasta.

I just wish it had free shipping (and certainly not twice the product's price for shipping!) or could be bought with the 'subscribe and save' option. I have to find it in certain stores that I can't get to very often.

I'm always working to get whole grains into the family's diet. The kids are sensitive to grainy textures and heavy flavors, and often they push back on whole wheat breads and pastas. This pancake mix occupies a sweet spot of healthy and delicious - wholesome, earthy taste but not overpowering. The kids like it! I use the substitution recommended on the box to use applesauce (unsweetened of course) in place of most of the milk, and it makes a plump, moist pancake that is delicious for days. Like another reviewer I keep a batch around for healthy breakfasts or snacks over a few days.

Here in GA they stock this mix at some local grocers. My wife just came home with a box though and we found that it's quite a bit cheaper on Amazon! I just signed up for Amazon Prime so I am in pancake heaven!

Best Pancake mix - Andres Morales - Alaska
I have tried many mixes and this is the best tasting, and probably best for me, mix I have tried. I would give Red Mill a star less.

This product also mixes well with other ingredients- like corn meal and corn, blueberries and nuts, and so on. The mix plays well with other ingredients, is filling, and tastes great. I have not had a better pancake (and I have tried a lot of mixes and made from scratch)in 20 years.
