Hodgson Mill Barley Bread Mix, 16-Ounce Units (Pack of 6) Review
I was a bit leery as don't think I've ever had "barley" bread before. But was very pleased with how it turned out. I used bread machine on dough cycle and then transferred in to loaf pan for final rising before baking in oven. Turned out yummy, with a softer kind of crust. Worked great for sandwiches, but also toasted up nicely. I'll buy it again.

If you like Barley Bread this is a great choice. Doesn't rise up like a lighter loaf - stays about 1 lb size but it is full of flavor.

When I initially ordered this bread mix, I meant to specify a different mix and didn't realize my mistake until it arrived. I was disappointed UNTIL I finally made the first loaf...and found the bread to be delicious! I shared the warm loaf with weekend guests and it drew rave reviews! So glad I made that "mistake"!
